If you're here because I've added you (and you're probably checking my journal to see who the hell I am), I've done so because something you've written has captured my attention span for more than a moment or two, or perhaps it's because we have similar interests, or quite possibly - people in common. I don't expect to be added in return, but feel free to do so.

If you're here following a comment in a friend's journal or a community, please let me know! I always welcome discussion from new acquaintances. I love verbose people, people that provoke me into lengthy conversations and people who make me think outside the box.

In addition, for those that are already here: I like a sense of balance on my friends list, and if you choose to remove me from your friends list, I will likely do the same. If you haven't updated your journal in over a year, I will probably remove you. If you're still out there reading, comment below and I will add you back.

Hi there. I really liked the idea of saying hello just for randoming around DW. Mine wasn't too terribly random, though. My chap and I are hanging around listening to a lot of music and bouncing through shows and bands and, "Oooh, that was good, what's that?"

I had my D.W. tab open anyway, remembered another friend expressing how big vinyl records have become again with people and I thought, "Gosh! I haven't looked into that interest on Dreamwidth. Let's try that one." More people who update more often, and for someone reason you caught me on the list. Then your list of interests, the musical groups in particular are very in common with what I like, even if I never listed them in my profile.

That's about it. Hopefully you're still about and use this account.

I'm still here! I don't post as much as I used to - I tend to read and comment more often, as I greatly prefer a keyboard to a mobile device and long for the days of old blogging, even though I don't quite put in the effort that I used to. But I was at a live show (and, incidentally, buying a vinyl record - Big Dark Love by the band Murder by Death) when I saw your comment, so I'm just now getting around to replying. Hello!
